All are welcome, members and friends, to experience Prayer Circle on Wednesday evening, the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Prayer Circle provides a safe environment for sharing prayer concerns, listening to others' faith stories, sensing the whisper of the Holy Spirit, and feeling the pulse of meditative music that opens us up to prayerfully supporting one another.

Duration: Approx 30 - 40 minutes

This online faith series, hosted by the Open Door Congregation, invites participants into a rich and engaging exploration of the transformative power of Christian hope. Open to anyone across the Australia Mission Centre, the Choose Hope series begins on Tuesday, 12 August at 7:00pm and will continue fortnightly through 7 October.

Together, we will draw on the inspiring witness of Acts 2, Geoffrey Spencer’s A Brightness of Hope, and Luther Smith’s Hope Is Here to discover hope as far more than wishful thinking. Through practices like prophetic remembering, contemplative praying, and crossing identity boundaries, we’ll explore how these spiritual disciplines can sustain us in challenging times. Through prayer, reflection, and conversation, participants will be encouraged to see their own lives within God’s ongoing story, nurturing the inner strength and spiritual vision needed to embody hope in daily life and share it within their communities.
