The annual Parramatta Pride Picnic on October 11 was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the connection between our Open Door congregation and the Rainbow community in Western Sydney. The Open Door team set out to achieve two goals: to share a message of God’s inclusive love for all and to raise funds for our congregation. And thank you, dear God, we did both! An enthusiastic team of volunteers worked seamlessly together, selling over 300 sausages and drinks, cooking, serving, and chatting with visitors. The unity and joy shared throughout the day made it a truly special day to be a part of.

Thank you Chrissie, Andrew, Kass, Kimmy, Diana, Damien, Sam, Adam, Ann, Lynann, Georgina, and Lauren for your awesomeness! And thank you to Lesley, Trish, and Vicki, as well as Clinton and Charmaine, for their behind-the-scenes support. Together we celebrated God’s boundless love—embracing diversity, strengthening community, and sharing hope with all.
