Sisterhood…..a long standing tradition that has sisters from all walks of life that have come together to build a truly blessed and sacred community at beautiful Tiona. A time to share, care and grow our faith.

We were reminded about the wonder of sisterhood, whilst watching an advert for Amazon. Three old friends watch the action on the snow fields, but are not prepared to risk their aging bodies by hopping in the toboggan. One of the friends purchased 3 cushions, and the ad finishes with the 3 women sliding off down the slopes in great delight, connected by the joy they are sharing together.

For as long as we can remember, there has been a Women’s retreat at Tiona.

It is a very special weekend where you can replenish your heart, mind, soul and body, a time of nurturing one another, a time to put your discipleship journey to the fore and to reignite and re-energise that sacred space that is waiting to bloom from within, all whilst enjoying the companionship and support of fellow sisters and friends.

Our hearts will be filled as we feel that connection to the Spirit and the beautiful blessings that being together brings.
