On Sunday, 1 March, the Brisbane congregation gathered for a special Communion service celebrating the priesthood superannuation of Harry Fielding after many years of faithful ministry. Members and friends joined both in person and via Zoom to mark this significant milestone and give thanks for Harry’s service and dedication.

The day also included joyful birthday celebrations, marking Harry’s 80th birthday and Peter Lawson’s 85th, both celebrated on March 6. It was a meaningful time of worship, reflection, and fellowship for the community.

Sunday’s service was very special for us, as it marked the celebration of Harry’s priesthood superannuation after many years of service to the church. It provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on how our life experiences have been enriched by the wonderful people we have met through ministry opportunities. We feel truly blessed to have good friends spread around the world in the places where we have lived and ministered.

It was also a joy to share a birthday celebration that day, marking Harry’s 80th and Peter Lawson’s 85th, both on March 6.
