National Volunteer Week is coming up next month, and with it comes a special opportunity to honour and celebrate the many people whose generosity, faithfulness, and quiet dedication help shape the life and mission of the church.

Across our congregations and communities, volunteers give their time, gifts, care, energy, and presence in countless ways — often behind the scenes, but always making a meaningful difference. From acts of service and leadership to hospitality, worship, pastoral care, administration, outreach, and more, volunteers continue to be at the heart of who we are and how we live Christ’s mission together.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about how we plan to celebrate volunteers across the life of the church. Pastors and leaders are encouraged to keep an eye out for upcoming information, and members are invited to look forward to joining us in giving thanks for the people who so faithfully help carry the work of community, compassion, and mission forward.
