Do you enjoy reading? Would you like to support children’s ministries by reading some children’s literature?

At this time of year, children’s ministries is starting to prepare for a book drive that normally goes out in early July. The intent is to share books with our kid’s community to remind them that they are part of a wider church community and that this community is thinking of them. This is done through posting specially chosen books, with personalised messages written inside, to children around Australia.

How can you help?

Borrow from a local library some of the proposed books, read them and send Kass a little review and recommendation. Reviews can include:

Suggested reading age or skill level
Identify enduring principles the story might connect with
Alert to any hazards or sensitivities that might be present within the text
Give your rating out of 10
