We are delighted to announce that, following a recruitment process, Matt Dobing has accepted the position of Administration & Executive Support Officer with the Australia Mission Centre.

Matt lives in Old Bar and is an active member of Community of Christ Australia. Before moving to Old Bar, he served as a member of the leadership team at Open Door Congregation. He has participated in congregational and Mission Centre activities and has supported worship through the ministry of music and the hosting of online services. His involvement has given him a strong understanding of the mission, ministry, and organisational life of Community of Christ.

In this role, Matt will provide administrative and executive support to the Mission Centre President and Mission Centre Financial Officer, while also supporting the broader work of Community of Christ in Australia. His responsibilities will include correspondence, calendars, records, membership information, events, communications, and the day-to-day administrative needs of the Mission Centre.

Matt will be an important point of connection for staff, pastors, congregations, members, friends, and others who engage with the Mission Centre. We look forward to the warmth, reliability, and thoughtful support he will bring to these relationships and to the life of our team.
