Historic Sites Tour Visits Australia - How You Can Connect

Over the next two weeks, members and friends from across the international church will travel through Australia and New Zealand as part of a Community of Christ Historic Sites Tour, exploring places, stories and communities that have shaped the life of the church here, while also taking in some of the beauty and sights of the region.

As the tour travels through Australia, there will be two opportunities for Australian members and friends to join the visiting group along the way.

Mornington Peninsula, Victoria — Tuesday, 8 September

Members and friends are welcome to join the tour group at stops throughout the day using their own vehicles, or gather at Frankston Community of Christ for an afternoon and evening of fellowship, storytelling and shared history.

10am — Arthurs Seat / Seawinds Gardens
2:30pm — Hastings Historical Society
3pm — Hastings Pier walk
4:30pm — Afternoon tea at Frankston Community of Christ
Evening — Dinner and historical storytelling with guest speakers

Frankston Community of Christ: 2 Logan Street, Frankston
Dinner: $15 per person

Mid North Coast, NSW — Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 September

The next point of connection along the tour will be on the Mid North Coast, with opportunities to gather for history, worship and fellowship with the visiting group.

Saturday, 12 September
6pm — Tuncurry Community of Christ
The History of Community of Christ on the Mid North Coast, followed by dessert and fellowship.

Sunday, 13 September — Mid North Coast Area Day
10am — Worship at Tiona Chapel
Theme: Blest Be the Tie That Binds
Followed by a shared lunch.

5pm — Sunset Reflections at the Green Cathedral
