I am pleased to share our highlights from World Conference 2025, some inspiring moments and thoughtful connections that stand out. It was such a privilege to gather and grow together!
Destiny Magnett of CMEP impressed us all with her insightful overview of Churches for Middle East Peace. She clearly outlined the mission and approach of this important work, of which we are a part.
Even though I hadn’t met him before this conference, our interactions with Lach Mackay were memorable. We will most certainly claim him as an Aussie Apostle.
Much appreciation for Matt, Teri and Liam Naylor for hosting our wonderful get-together in their home. I was delighted to hear they are planning to attend Tiona reunion this year.
Many thanks to Carole and Bruce Lindgren who welcomed us Aussies into their home before and after World Conference. Arriving early was a lifesaver. Jet lag hit hard, and being able to arrive early and give our bodies time to rest and adjust was a real blessing. Carole and Bruce, with their past Tiona experience and travels in Australia and New Zealand, were perfect “honorary Aussies” hosting Leanne and Wade from Townsville, as well as Harry and me.
It was truly humbling to participate in the conference deliberations and the passing of such significant resolutions. I was struck by how opposing views were expressed with dignity and compassion.
As we return to our individual communities, we carry with us a renewed sense of Hope. We remain committed to embodying the principles of Love, Hope and Peace in the places where we live and serve.
