Join the Community of Christ Historic Sites Foundation for the free Online Lecture Series this November-December. This engaging series invites you to journey through our church’s history—from Apostle Cecil Ettinger’s 1963 mission to Nigeria, to the political climate of 1830s Kirtland, the German heritage of the Whitmer family, and Andrew Bolton’s personal reflection in Your Story is Church History. Each free, online lecture offers fresh insight into the people and moments that continue to inspire our shared story.
The series launches Friday, 7th November at 12pm AEDT with Australia’s Apostle Lachlan Mackay, who will present “Nauvoo Polygamy and the RLDS Church.” In this opening session, Lach will explore the complex history and diverse perspectives surrounding Nauvoo polygamy and its place within RLDS identity and understanding.
