As we approach the Advent, Christmas, and New Year season, we invite all priesthood holders across Community of Christ in Australia to take time for prayerful reflection on their calling and ministry in the year ahead.

This season often offers a natural pause, a time to look back with gratitude, and to listen attentively for where God may be inviting us next. One way to support this discernment is through completing a Priesthood Ministry Plan.

For priesthood members currently serving within a congregation, your pastor may have already been in contact, or will likely be in contact with you over the holiday break regarding ministry planning. We also recognise that many priesthood serve remotely or outside of congregational settings, and we want to ensure that everyone has the same opportunity for reflection and discernment.

Ministry plans are first and foremost for you, a personal tool to help you prayerfully reflect on your sense of calling, your ministry hopes, and your spiritual practices for the year ahead. You are very welcome to share your plan with Meredith, our Mission Centre President, though this is entirely optional.

We encourage you to approach this not as a task to complete, but as a prayerful spiritual practice during this Advent and New Year season, a gentle invitation to listen, reflect, and respond.
