World Conference 2025: A New Generation, A New Vision

What an incredible, spirit filled week the Australian Delegation have experienced at World Conference. Over and over, I am hearing from Conference attendees that there is a shift in atmosphere, an uplifting energy and a movement towards change. It is the Spirit of hope.

From the powerful moment of President Stassi Cramm's ordination to the calling and affirming of six new apostles, representing a new generation of leadership, to the passing of many progressive pieces of legislation. We witnessed the rising voice of global members and leaders, vibrant worship, rich spiritual practices, engaging dialogues, and genuine connections across cultures and generations.

The conference theme, Hope is Here, encouraged us to adopt a posture of opportunity, need, and alertness. President Cramm challenged us to not overthink the long-term difficulties, but to look for the next faithful step we can take to bring forth God's love and vision - as disciples, as leaders, as a community.

As I think about our community of disciples in Australia, I am reflecting upon our people, resources, and opportunities with fresh eyes. My hope is that we can continue the momentum of spirit-filled change that has been at work in Australia these past two years. That this optimistic spirit from World Conference will continue to inspire and challenge us. I hope that delegates will return refreshed and reinvigorated, courageously adopting a posture of hope and possibility as we invite people to experience the richness of discipleship in our Australian spiritual community.

Hope is here!
